The rush to drill for oil has led to North Dakota’s biggest salt water spill ever and new threats to drinking water and the rights of people who live on the land. And now an oil company wants the right to condemn property for a private pipeline project. Check out what DRC is doing about it.
There are great opportunities for North Dakota farmers and rural communities to produce clean, renewable fuels that promote energy independence and bring income to local communites. Genetically modified crops
GM crops pose huge risks for both farmers and consumers. These risks include market loss, loss of civil rights and impacts on human health and the environment. Industrialization of hog and dairy production has put thousands of livestock producers out of business and endangered the environment all over the country. North Dakota is one of factory farming’s latest targets. Find out what DRC is doing to meet this threat.
Corporate dominance of our beef industry is increasing poverty in cattle-producing areas of our country and threatens the safety and quality of American meat. Find out how DRC is working for reform.
Current U.S. trade policy has led to decreased farm income, loss of good jobs and threats to laws that protect Americans. Find out what DRC is doing to stop the free trade mania.
